    Product Overview

RTP pipe — reinforced thermoplastic composite pipe — is a three-layer structure purpose-built for oil, gas and industrial transportation: an HDPE liner, a reinforcement layer of glass fiber, aramid or steel wire, and an outer protective jacket. Every layer is engineered for one job: keeping corrosive media away from metal and keeping installation fast.

The CNPS RTP line is rated for working pressure up to 32 MPa (320 bar) at 23 °C with higher ratings on request, a temperature range of −40 °C to 110 °C including a high-temperature version, and a service life of ≥ 20 years in CO₂/H₂S environments. Rollable lengths reach up to 1 km per reel, the pipe is 70% lighter than similar steel pipe, and the reduced joint count cuts leak points by 80%.

RTP is a system, not just a pipe: flanged or hubbed steel end fittings tie seamlessly into existing steel infrastructure, and liner resins, reinforcement fibers and jacket colors are customized per process conditions.

    Why Choose RTP Pipes?

    Customer Challenges
    Customer Benefits
    Product Range / Structure
    Key Features & Benefits
    • Steel pipelines corrode internally and externally in CO₂/H₂S and produced-water service
    • Welded joints are leak and inspection risks; long tie-ins are slow to install
    • Heavy pipe raises transport, crane and support costs across the route
    • Corrosion-inhibitor programs add ongoing chemical and operating expense

CNPS Solution: An all-polymer RTP system — HDPE liner, glass/aramid/steel-wire reinforcement and protective jacket — coil-supplied up to 1 km per reel with flanged or hubbed steel terminations, eliminating internal corrosion and most field joints.

    • Handles up to 32 MPa internal pressure with no metal fatigue — full hoop strength maintained for 20 years
    • No internal rust: non-metallic liner and jacket end inhibitor programs
    • Up to 1 km per reel enables trenchless pull-ins and ~70% faster installation
    • 80% fewer leak points through fewer joints
    • Minimum bend radius 15 × OD for dynamic pulls; as low as 10 × OD static
    • Complete system with steel end fittings for direct tie-in to existing lines
    • Structure: HDPE liner / glass-fiber, aramid or steel-wire reinforcement / outer jacket
    • Sizes: DN50 – DN200 (CNPS line); DN50 – DN800 per referenced catalog data
    • Working pressure: up to 32 MPa (320 bar) at 23 °C; higher ratings on request; referenced catalog lists max 25 MPa — Confirm by model
    • Temperature: −40 °C to 110 °C (incl. high-temperature version); referenced catalog lists −40 °C to 130 °C — Confirm by model
    • Coil length: up to 1 km per reel
    • Terminations: steel end fittings, flanged or hubbed; complete systems with matched fittings
    • Pressure capacity — Handles 32 MPa internal pressure without metal fatigue, maintaining full hoop strength for 20 years.
    • Corrosion defence — Non-metallic liner and jacket eradicate internal rust, ending costly inhibitor programs.
    • Fast deployment — Up to 1 km per reel allows trenchless pull-ins and ~70% faster installation.
    • Lifecycle savings — Lightweight coils cut transport costs and shrink joint count, lowering leaks and repairs.
    • Flexible routing — Minimum 15 × OD bend radius for dynamic pulls, as low as 10 × OD for static placements.
    • No inhibitors required — All-polymer fluid path eliminates galvanic and CO₂/H₂S corrosion.
    • Fully customizable — Liner resins, reinforcement fibers and jacket colors tailored per process conditions; site-specific coil lengths.
    • System completeness — Steel end fittings (flanged or hubbed) tie into existing steel systems; complete RTP systems with matched fittings.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    1
What is the maximum working pressure?
A: The CNPS RTP line is rated up to 32 MPa (320 bar) at 23 °C, with higher ratings on request. A referenced catalog lists a maximum of 25 MPa — confirm the rating for your diameter and service with our engineers (Confirm by model).
    2
What temperature range can RTP handle?
    A: −40 °C to 110 °C including a high-temperature version. A referenced catalog lists −40 °C to 130 °C — confirm your operating profile (Confirm by model).
    3
What is the minimum bend radius?
A: Minimum 15 × OD for dynamic pulls, and as low as 10 × OD for static placements.
    4
    Does RTP need corrosion inhibitors?
A: No. The all-polymer fluid path eliminates galvanic and CO₂/H₂S corrosion — no internal corrosion inhibitors are required.
    5
How is RTP connected to steel systems?
A: Through steel end fittings, flanged or hubbed, that tie directly into existing steel pipelines. Complete systems with matched fittings are available.
